Belles 'n Whistles Snowbaby Hop

Edited to add my winner: Shirley!! congratulations!

Welcome to the Snow Babies Blog Hop with Belles n Whistles! We would love to invite you to sit down and relax and warm up with us on this hop. Sweet Little Belle may be out playing in the snow, but each of the DT is going to be sharing a recipe to warm you up! I know you are really going to enjoy this release - all of the stamps are adorable! You can start pre-ordering them today, and they will start shipping on Monday, November 1st.

You should have arrived from Kathy's blog - if not, you will really want to go back and start at the beginning. Each DT will be choosing a winner from comments left on their blog to win a BnW stamp of their choice! And one lucky winner chosen from all the blogs will win the entire release! Woo hoo!

This blog hop is also very special to us - we chose to honor two of our DT members who have been affected by breast cancer, our dear sweet Jacque and Elise. We would really like to urge everyone to check themselves monthly and to have regular mamograms. We are so proud to call these strong ladies our friends.

Now, on with my project. Instead of making a card, I made a gift holder for my Russian Tea mix. I was so happy to work with Catch a Flake (I think she is my favorite from this release!) I colored her with copics and cut her out and put her on my tea holder. Then I added a piece of clear cardstock over the top and glued snowflakes, so it would look like she was standing out in the snow.

Russian Tea Mix
  • 2 cups Tang
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup lemon-flavored instant tea
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container. To serve, put 1-2 Tbs in a mug and stir in boiling water.

From here, you should hop on to Jodi's blog and see what she has cooked up for you! In case you get lost along the way, here is a complete list.
