I love incorporating old book pages into my art. I was thrilled this fall to find a couple of old English and French dictionaries at a library book sale.
I mounted the page onto cardstock for strength, and then used an embossing folder to create the flower pattern. I added chipboard to the area that I was going to stamp prior to embossing, to leave a flat area.
The leaves and moth were stamped onto vellum, another fun and fragile paper.

Oh I love the gold embossing around the edge of the page...such an opulent effect!
Lovely card...nice idea to use old book pages...I liked that main image with all effects n gold embossing.
