Just wanted to share my card with you today that is on the Heartfelt Creations blog. I know it's only January, but I am already wishing for spring. Be sure to check back next week for our new release - I know you are going to love it!Here are the details:
- HCPC 3318 Daisy Patch Flowers HCPC 3307 Jean Pocket/Ball Can HCPC 3354 Classic Message HCPC 3319 Simple Filler Stems HCD 703 Daisy Patch Die Spellbinders Scalloped Circles Small Flower Soft ( Peony Pink) Copics- YG03, YG07, BG0000, BG000,BG23, B000, B01, E25, W5, RV00, RV02, RV04 Sakura White glaze pen Echo Park Paper (Life is Good collection) Stamp the Ball Jar on Cryogen White paper using black Memento ink. Mask the rim of the jar and stamp the lower portion of the flower stem and cut out the whole shape. Stamp an additional stem and cut out. I cut a small incision at the opening of the jar (using an exacto knife) to feed the stem through. This leaves the area under the "thick" part of the jar's rim without any of the stem. I lightly colored in the stem using the W5 gray pen. This gives the illusion of looking at the flower through a thick layer of glass. I stamped, colored and cut my flower using the Daisy Patch die. I put a Dew Drop for the center and added Flower Soft around. I mounted this on pink DP cut out with the Label 17 die. I adding faux stitching around the edge of this frame. The card was assembled using pop dots to add dimension.
