Scor-Pal and Clearsnap Summer Fun Blog Hop

Welcome to the Clearsnap & Scor-Pal Summer Fun Blog Hop 2011!!

Our lovely Design Teams have created some wonderful summer fun projects with
the Scor-Pal, brimming with inspiration and of course lots of Clearsnap
inks! Visit each Design Team member's blog to see what inspiring projects
they have to share. Leave a comment on each blog. We'll choose one winner
from all of the comments posted to receive a prize pack from Clearsnap and
another from Scor-Pal.

I decided the best way to show off all of the goodies that Clearsnap sent, was to make my own designer paper. I started off with just a white sheet of cardstock, and used the Curry and Ice limited edition ColorBox colors to stamp images using the ColorBox Molding Mats. I sprinkled these with clear embossing powder, and then spritzed the images using Smooch Spritz in Ice Rink, Gingerale, and Vanilla Shimmer. I decided it needed a little more contrast, so I added a little Green Olive. I then sprayed puddles of spritz, and laid the molding mats down, to lift off colors and make a negative impression. Then with the spritz still on the mats, I directly stamped that onto the paper. I added a text stamp from Crafty Secrets over my finished paper.

I used a dark gold cardstock as the base of my Concertina fold card - and cut it at 7" x 12". With the 12" side along the top of my Scor-Pal, I scored it at 3", 6", and 9". I folded this accordion style, and then drew a line from the top left corner to about 3.5" from the bottom left side. I cut along the mark, and had the base of my card ready to decorate with my stamped paper.

Because the way this card folds, you will need to decorate both sides. I added a flower made with stamps/dies from Heartfelt Creations. As a finishing touch, I attached ribbon from May Arts using my Scor-tape.
So, it's time to hop along to Jean's blog - and remember to leave comments along the way.
