Get ready for Fall card

I used a cute sketch from Eclectic Endeavours for this leaf card. Be sure to check Rebecca's site for great blog candy! Can you believe fall is almost here? My husband is a teacher, and he has to go back to school tomorrow! I also used the color challenge from Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday challenge - use red, olive, black and one other neutral. With those colors, who can help but think of fall?

Hurry to Eclectic Endeavours

Here are the details below for entering Rebecca's great blog candy giveaway! Go to her site to enter and mention that I referred you and you and I will both get additional entries - yeah!

ETA - Aug 12: I have added a COPIC SKETCH MARKER!! YG03!

ETA - Aug 15th: With only 3 entries so far, I may delay the contest, reposting it for the week after school starts. Seems everyone is too busy to visit!

I have a lot to celebrate! My hubby was on strike and it is over, finally! Fortunately, we didn't fair too badly financially because as an essential service, paramedic, he still worked 75%. I'm suffering withdrawal from ordering goodies from the internet though! My blog has over 10,000 hits, actually over 12,000 by now and I just went over 200 posts in less than a year! So, blog candy is in order!

So what are we playing for? How about A COPIC SKETCH MARKER YG03, 20 yards of mixed ribbon and ric-rack, a grab bag of unmounted rubber, SU! die cut tags and two favour boxes, a package of felt flowers, a generous mix of brads, eyelets, butterfly charms, pearls and beads and a brand new package of bright pink Scrapper’s Floss for your paper crafting pleasure! Oh, and some turquoise faux suede cording, envelope seals and two little word bubble embellishments. Pretty good, huh?

Dream Card

It's Sunday night, which usually means I need to sit down and have some creative time to unwind. Tonight I made this Dream card for several challenges. At Copic Creations, the challenge was to color using red or pink. I colored the Fairy (which is a digital download from Mo's Digital Pencil. Over at Timeless Tuesday, the challenge was to score - which I used my Scor-pal to emboss my score lines on core'dinations Black Magic paper, and then sanded to reveal the lavender. The Cuttlebug Challenge this week was to use a scene. I used the mountain border from CTMH True Happiness set to create the scene. My wish for everyone who reads this blog is for you to have big dreams, and for them all to come true!
