Welcome to the second day of the Xyron and Craftwell Blog Hop! This will be a week filled with great projects, much inspiration and some wonderful prizes!
I created an altered apothecary jar - to kind of fit in with the wedding/anniversary season. I just thought that the embossing folder I used was so elegant - it seemed like the perfect pairing.
I first painted the inside of the container with silver spray paint, and then embossed a metallic paper with the Swirltangle folder. I brushed silver paint over the embossed area to really bring out the design. I used the Xyron Creative Station to apply adhesive to the paper panels and attach to the jar. The Double Sided tape was perfect to adhere the lace trim, and the Clear Hold Adhesive was perfect for adhering the flowers.
The Craftwell Design Team will be hopping all week long on their blog as
well (see the links to their blogs below) - be sure to start over at
the Craftwell blog
and get yourself entered for a set of TWELVE embossing folders!
Imagine the creativity! And be sure to stop by the Xyron blog all this week for more giveaways!
