Animals and Insects, Dots and Stripes

It's another challenge day at Delightful Challenges. This week our theme is Animals and Insects, Dots and Stripes. I used the adorable Lara Ladybug (since she came with dots attached!).

Are you stopping by the shop each Friday to pick up the weekly freebie? You won't want to miss tomorrow's - he is so cute!

Also, Wendy drew this exclusive image that you can only get at Crafty Emma's Store.
All proceeds from the sale of this image will go to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in memory of Emma's Dad who was tracically killed at work in September 2009. So please stop by Emma's store and get your copy!

Falling for You with Really Reasonable Ribbon

I really love fall, so you will have to forgive me if I am rushing into using my autumn colors! But, I have to admit, that is my favorite palette ! This easel card features Hansel - a digital stamp from the Stamping Bazaar. I folded paper pleats and machine stitched Cranberry Grosgrain ribbon down on top of it. This made a really cool texture. I also used, I think my last piece of Brown crochet lace on the bottom portion of the card. Bonnie, you know I will be ordering more of that one! Doesn't this card just make you think of crisp, fall days? I can't wait!

Get Zesty with Karen's Doodles!

Welcome to Monday and another challenge day at Karen's Doodles. This week Joey has chosen the theme - Summer Zest. We want to see yellow, orange, lime green and a splash of blue. It really is a fun summer palate to play with!

I used Butterfly Puppy and think that he looks quite happy to be surrounded by such vibrant colors. The papers are from Kaisercraft.

There's not much time left for summer, so you better pull out your bright papers and have a go at this while you can. We can't wait to see what you come up with.

Have you been watching Flower Soft TV?

You know, every Friday, there is a new episode of Flower Soft TV - and this week is just so fun! It's also a Special Offer week - so you can get this very cute digital download for a great price!
I made a telephone numbers magnet for the side of the refrigerator- all of the papers and images come with the download - so I just printed them, cut them out, popped some dimensional tape between them and inked the papers a little bit. I added some Russet Red Flower Soft on my dotted lines. Very easy and very fun! I do hope you will go check out our new episode!

There must be some Hocus Pocus going on here!

Ahhh, Saturday - the weekend! And so it must be time for me to share this week's Beary Scrap creation with you. The Beary Scrappy Gals have been sharing CAS projects based on this sketch. This is also our challenge to you for another week, so please join us.

So, I got out my Spellcaster Tilda, and told her, "Look, Miss Susan said this was to be a clean and simple card - so no flowers, no layers, no distressing, no glitz, no frou-frou." Well, I don't think she was very happy with this - I mean, after all I was using the Bo Bunny Peacock Lane - How could I not embellish that? I held strong and made this very CAS card.

I should have known better than to leave Spellcaster Tilda alone in my studio with her magic wand! I came back and found that suddenly there were layers, and ribbons, and flowers, and butterflies and stickles - All the things that we had agreed would not be on this card! I think Tilda even got into my Glimmer Mist and sprayed that clear butterfly! This certainly was no longer clean and simple.

So, if you are looking for a little magic, drop by the Beary Scrap and see what we have in store for you!

Challenges:
Just Magnolia: acetate (butterfly made from Cricut packaging - cut with Spellbinders)
Crafty Pad: Ribbons and Flowers
Crafty Cardmakers: punches
Alota: Distress
Stamp and Create: Flowers
Pixie Cottage: Feeling Blue
Simon Says: Sing it Baby - Magic - Olivia Newton John

Fun in the Sun!

Where is the summer going? My husband is a teacher, and he will soon have to go back to school! At Belles n Whistles, we want to keep that summer feeling going by seeing a little Fun in the Sun!

For my card, I used Little Eden. I decided that she would have fun watching the penguins hula dance for her!

I hope you will get a chance to play this week! You could win a BnW stamp of your choice!

Winner - Digital Delights Blogoversary Hop

Hi! Thanks for everyone who hopped along for the Digital Delights Blogoversary! I just wanted to let you know that my winner of the Cupcake Timmy image is KATIE! Yay! I've sent you an email. If you didn't win, and you've got to have your own Timmy, just head over to Digital Delights and you can get your own.

Mini Book

I had time to put together a mini-book for the challenge at Cuttlebug Spot. Luckily, I had embossed a few sheets of white paper, that I brought with me - otherwise, I would not have been able to play along.
For my pages, I alternated stamping (with great stamps from Layers of Color) and using a punch from Kreaxions.
Challenges:
Cuttlebug Spot - mini-book
OSAAT- black and white plus one
Fussy and Fancy - Pink and black
