New Release - Crafter's Companion - Butterfly Lullaby

It's release day at Crafter's Companion US! Yay! Today we are adding Sara Davies' Signature Collection - Butterfly Lullaby.  It's perfect for spring! Now this collection launched a couple of months ago, and it was so wildly popular that we have just now gotten part of the collection in stock!

I used the embossing folder to emboss the scalloped circle, but then fussy cut it down to just the circle, rather than using the whole design.  The flowers were fussy cut and glittered, then shaped a little bit before I adhered them with foam tape.

For My Special Friend

Here's a fun tag that you can easily add to your next hostess gift! I used the new AquaBlend pencils from Spectrum Noir. They really make shading very easy. The image is from Sheena's A Little Bit Scenic - Provence.   It was layered with die cuts from Edge'ables Only Words - For My Special Friend  and Die'sire Decorative Dies - Chantilly Lace Stamping Frame.
Remember, adding a touch of metallics to any project makes it a little more glamorous - perfect for special occasions.

Here you can see what the card looks like closed and laced shut.

Watercolor Tag with Crafter's Companion

I've got a fun mixed media tag tutorial on the Crafter's Companion Information Blog site. It's easy to use the Spectrum Aqua products to create dreamy watercolor effects.

Using watercolor pens is an easy and neat way to add color to your projects, even on the go!

Floral Delights

I just wanted to pop in and share a card that I created for Sara Davies' last appearance on HSN.  This is using products from her latest signature collection - perfect for spring.  A fun tip that you can use when you are creating floral clusters is to fussy cut some flower images from you patterned paper and then make some dimensional flowers and layer them together.
