Where Our Journey Began

I was going through some of my pictures this weekend, and found this one. that I really like, of me and my husband.  It was taken at the lake in our neighborhood, which happens to be where we got married.  I had this journey themed paper from Kaisercraft ( Check In) - which typically would be used for trips and vacations.  But I got to thinking...journeys don't always involve traveling. Much more often, it has less to do about where we go and more to do about who we become.

My new Cheery Lynn dies for the month arrived on Saturday - so this layout was the perfect opportunity to start playing with them!

The new challenge this week is "roses".  So be sure to get those entries in for your chance to win a $20 gift certificate.  Also,  all entries for the month of June will be eligible to win a Big Shot Machine - how awesome is that?  You can only enter one project a week - but make sure you enter each week, for four chances to win!

A fantastic intepretation of the KC sketch. Those cheery lynn dies are so pretty. I too love how you have chosen Check In not for the holiday theme but rather as a life journey. Great work
