Groovy

When I saw this groovy girl on Sassy Studio Designs, I could not resist her! The go-go boots are just like what I used to wear when I was a majorette! So, she really brought back some great memories. I printed a 2nd image of her, and cut out her dress, stamped it with Intrinsic Backgrounds stamp set from CTMH, and colored with copics. I had some really fun textured black papers (that look way cooler in person), some black glittery thickers, and some BG stickers, that I added dew drops to embellish.

Mouse Card

I had so much fun working on this card this afternoon! I spent the morning cleaning my scraproom, so everything was all organized when I sat down to work on this sketch challenge from Stampin' Sisters in Christ. The adorable mouse is one of Mo's designs (this lady is so talented!) I got some new Copic Spica markers, so I got to add a little shimmer on some details, which was really nice, because these are just so pretty without being garish. The little mouse is peeking out of the hole on the front of the card, and then once the card is opened, you can see what he's been up to.

Monogram Card

Here is my challenge card for Midnight Madness Challenge #19 and for Tuesday Morning Sketches (which the challenge was to use ribbon. I used the sketch provided, and pulled out lots of embellies that I had forgotten about! I used the oval frame from Tattered Angels, and misted it with coffee shop. The crown and fleur-di-lis are also from Tattered Angels and were misted with pink ice and coffee shop. The rectangular frame was cut with the scalloped rectangles nestabilities and embossed in the Moroccan screen cuttlebug folder. I wove ribbons for the backgound of the oval frame, stamped, embossed and colored the "c" stamp from Technique Tuesday, added a few primas, pearls and ribbons, and was finally finished!

Halloween Card

Isn't this witch cameo digi-stamp from Sassy Studio Designs just the sassiest! The house is a cuttlebug folder embossed on black magic cs from Core'dinations, and then sanded. The bat punch is a MS design. I used the scalloped circles nestabilities with dew drops glued around the scallops to add a little bling. Sassy Studio Designs had a challenge to use orange, purple, green and black (or at least 3 of those colors) and Die Cuts R Us had a challenge to pull out some of those media that we may not use so much and use them.

Party for Two continues

Continuing on with a party theme of "Party for Two", I made this gift box (using Cricut's Tags, Bags, Boxes and More). I used linen weave cs, as well as glitter cardstock that was embossed with the new Moroccan Screen cuttlebug folder. I used a technique from BettyBee to make my metallic confetti streamers out of wrapping paper. They were then embossed with the Moroccan Screen as well. The matching card carried the same theme (I don't know if you can tell from the scan that the glitter paper is embossed). The champagne glasses have "bubbly" in them from the Tiny Bubbles cuttlebug folder. Party on!

Win a New Gypsy!

There is a new blog, Cutting Above that is giving away not one, but two Gypsies from Provocraft. If you have a Cricut, then this is a must have! Be sure to watch HSN on Sept.24th, starting at 12am, to see the product debut, then head over to Cutting Above to learn more about it!

Poppy Card

I love poppies! And I was really happy with the way this card turned out. I used a sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You and their sponsor this week is Flourishes. Can you tell I am slightly addicted to their stamps? They are so beautiful, I just can't get enough of them! I colored the poppy stamp with copics, cut it out with a Spellbinder die, and added antique lace around the border. I added some pearls that I colored yellow with my copics, added some ribbon, and Voila! Thanks for looking!

Outlines stamp

A couple of weeks ago, I saw online, some really cute cards that were made with Outlines stamps. After looking through tons of things that I already own, I realized that I had this stamp set from Outlines, that I did not even realized that I had! So, anyhow, I finally played with it (I really have no idea how long I have owned this stamp!) I used copics to color - rv11,rv14,r32,bv00,v15,v06, b39,and b24. The sketch is from Stamp TV STVSC29-Sketch Challenge for Thursday .

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge FTTC32

I love this lemon set from Flourishes (although, I am finding it difficult not to love all of their stamp sets!) This is for the weekly challenge, which was a sketch challenge. As always, I loved playing along.
