May Arts and Splash of Color

The Design Team for May Arts Ribbon has teamed up with Splash of Color for a fun two day hop.  Yesterday their designers showed off some lovely projects and today the Ribbonistas are showing what they've  been up to on the MA Blog. Make sure to leave a comment on the May Arts blog  and the Splash of Color Blog to be in the running to win  a 6pk of petite Luminarte H20s and all three spools of the May Arts Eyelet Ribbon series.

The Ribbonistas were challenged to alter our wonderful Eyelet ribbon using Splash of Color's Twinkling H2O's.  I painted the ribbon to achieve a watercolor effect from blue to green to match my patterned paper. I hand stitched a gather to form the layers of the skirt for my chipboard dress form.  I added a little bit more glitz with a belt and bow made from the  Metallic Velvet.

Cheery Lynn Designs New Release Continues!

I've got another card to share with you today.  Although these flowers are supposed to be Black Eyed Susans, I took a little creative license and ink and came up with these.
