Bee Strong Video Tutorial

I love bee imagery - so I really had fun creating this canvas for today's video.  And this project is jammed full of great techniques that you will want to try yourself.

So please join me, in my studio (via the wonderful world of YouTube!)

Supplies
Prima: Stencils
Unity Stamps: Cooped Up Notes
Anna Griffin: Chipboard Letters
Tsukineko: StazOn Ink ( Jet Black)
StencilGirl - Wood Icing
Paper Napkin
Golden: Matte Medium

I played along with the Scrap Around the World challenge using their June Mood Board.
I pulled in some of the colors, but was also inspired by the diagonal stripes on the straws - and as you will see in my video - my canvas began with a diagonal striped background.  I also had to throw flowers in there (because, I do love my flowers).

May Arts, DCWV and Tombow Blog Hop

Welcome to the first day of the Triple Threat Blog Hop with May Arts Ribbon, DCWV and Tombow!  We have got an amazing week lined up for you! Great projects and awesome prizes.
  • a stack from DCWV
  • a spool of ribbon from May Arts
  • Xtreme Adhesive, Power Tabs, Removable Adhesive and Fastener Tabs from Tombow
There are 3 prize packs up for grabs, to win - comment on each blog & like our Facebook pages.

I really love all of the textured papers that DCWV has - so I had great fun combining them in this vintage card. The burlap paper and the corrugate paper really stole the show - and looked so great with the May Arts Ribbons. The Mono Liquid Glue was perfect for adding glitz to my chipboard, and also for creating the flower center using MA's  paper cord.
