Color challenge at the Beary Scrap!

Hi, and happy Saturday! I hope that you have enjoyed our Gold and Cream plus One theme this week at the Beary Scrap. Today is my last day posting on Saturdays - from here on out, I will be sharing some Beary Goodness on Tuesdays.

As you can see, I chose to use rosy-red for my other color. I used papers from My Mind's Eye -Laundry Line. If you don't have any MME papers, now is a great time to stock up. Not only does Kimm have some great sales going on, but a little birdie told me there's going to be a contest soon (but you have to use MME papers). Also, the new lines are coming in - Alphabet Soup,
Holly Jolly, and Lost and Found (my favorite!). The Cherry Blossom stamp is from Flourishes. I added Ivory Flower Soft to the centers, and then added a tiny gold bead in the center. I used Glimmer Mist to help distress the edges and and that glimmer that I love.

You have until the 14th to play along with our sketch challenge. The winner will recieve a $20 gift voucher to the Beary Scrap!

Did you watch Flower Soft TV this week?

Hi! I just wanted to let you know of some exciting things that are happening at Flower Soft! Hopefully, you have discovered Flower Soft TV, with a new episode every Friday. My card today uses the special download you can get to go along with last week's episode all on Halloween. I printed this cutie out from my computer and cut her out using my Nestabilities. I stacked the images to give depth, and also used my copics around the bottom image to add some shadows. I used the Violet Flower Soft around the edge of my border - I love it paired with the black cardstock.

I told you we had some exciting things happening, that you won't want to miss out on!
So, you've got lots of chances to win some wonderful Flower Soft products and get inspired with great tutorials.

This week, our challenge is Birthdays. We hope you will play along.

Challenges:
2 Sketches for You - sketch
Spoon Full of Sugar - Animal Crackers
Simon Says Stamp - Holiday Fun
The Pixie Cottage - furry friends
Simon Says Stamp and Show - holiday fun

Pretty In Pink

I hope everyone is enjoying a nice, long weekend! I had a great time yesterday - my sister and nephews came over and we crafted, played tag and grilled pizza. It was absolutely beautiful weather, and we all had a wonderful time.

We have an easy challenge for you at Karen's Doodles - Pretty in Pink. I wanted to use a very feminine image for this week, so I used Angel. I also added tons of sparkle to this one with Glimmer Mist, stickles, crystals and glittered cardstock. Can you say girlie-girl?

I used 1.5" satin rose ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and made the rose by putting a large Zot dot on a square of paper and attaching the ribbon length to this. I then started twisting the ribbon, while I wrapped it around the flower center. Then I used Fabri-tac Glue to hold the whole thing down and added it to my card. This rose takes about 30 seconds to make, but really looks very luxurious.

We hope that you will play this week. Karen keeps adding really cute images that I know you will have fun coloring.
