You're Tree-mendous

The challenge at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge this week, was to make something inspired by the outdoors, with colors of fall. I used this tree stamp and sentiment that I won from Starving Artistamps. I think the saying is just perfect.

Now that Thanksgiving is over...Merry Christmas!

Well, I did not go out for Black Friday today, but instead spent the day with my sister making cards for challenges. Don't you think that's much more fun than standing in lines? I used the stamp from Whiff of Joy (their challenge was for a Christmas card) and the sketch if from Create 4 Fun. I used a recipe challenge from Pink Elephant- to use plaid, brads and no ribbon. I love using fabrics on my cards, so I used felt on this for the challenge at Creative Card Crew - My Favorite Things. I used a pink and brown color scheme for the challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar. I added stitching with a border of hand stitched French knots around my felt mat, for the challenge at Pixie Cottage. You may not notice, but I have a chipboard snowflake (challenge at Creative Belli Blog is for chipboard) peeking out from behind my Snowman mat. I sprayed it with Tattered Angels so it's nice and sparkly.

It seems that there are quite a few challenges this week to make a Christmas card, so this
card is also for:
Sparkle Creations
Pollycraft
Whimsy Stamps
Everybody Art
Charisma Cardz
Flourishes
Papertake Weekly

You Make this House a Home

Here is my other card for the Flourishes Flip Wall of Fame. I stacked the picket fence and trees for added dimension, and added flowersoft among the rock wall.
I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Strut Your Stuff

I am trying to get several cards made for the FLIP Flourishes Wall of Fame challenge. I love Flourishes stamps, and am excited every month to see the new releases. For this card, I used Strut Your Stuff. I used the sketch from Get Sketchy. I'm off to try to finish another card for this challenge!

Thinking of You

I needed to make a sympathy card for a neighbor, so I used the sketch from Pink Persimmon. The stamp is their You're a Jewel. I thought this card was elegant and thoughtful, without being too fussy.

Butterfly Fairy

The challenge at Michelle Perkett's group this week was to use blue, green and a hint of red. I used her beautiful Butterfly Fairy, and colored her with copics. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.

Simon Says show us your Animal Antics

This week's challenge at Simon Says is Animal Antics, so I thought I would use this Basket of Luv from LoubyLou's Digital Delights. He colored up so cute! I used the sketch from Stampin for the Weekend. I really wasn't sure how this sketch would do at first, but I really like how it turned out!

My 2nd Week as Guest Designer at Incy Wincy Designs

I have had fun being the guest designer at Incy Wincy Designs for the past two weeks. This week is a sketch challenge. As an added bonus, Mo, from Mo's Digital Pencil is sponsoring this week, and gave us a choice of images to use in our project. I chose this gorgeous angel, Sending Peace. I printed her on my colored cardstock, and on white to color, but since I did not want to have to cut out all of the curls of her hair, I colored the tiny parts on the colored paper, and just cut out the rest an popped her up. The wings are very shimmery - I used copic spicas, Martha Stewart glitter pens and a wash of Twinkling H2O's. I also made this card for the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge. Thanks, Mo! for the great image and thank you Incy Wincy Designs for having me as a Guest Designer the past two weeks.

In Everything Give Thanks

I thought this Earth image from Michell Perkett was a great choice for a "Thankful" card. Lala Land Crafts is holding a challenge right now to create a card for thankfulness, and they are giving some amazing blog candy - but you need to enter by midnight, Monday 23rd. Also, at Stampin' Sisters in Christ, the theme is Thanksgiving. I added the sentiment "In Everything Give Thanks". I used the sketch from Pixie Cottage, but turned it into an easel card. At Creative Inspirations the challenge was to sparkle - not only does this card now sparkle, but so does my desk, my keyboard and me - from head t toe! The challenge at Copic Creations was to color gold. I colored Earth's dress with gold copics and then added a layer of liquid glass with gold glitter over it to make it really shine. I love making easel cards!
