May You Always Have A Shell In Your Pockets and Sand In Your Shoes

I've got a mixed media card to inspire you today - that uses bright, primary colors, perfect for the summer.

 I stamped the Wasted background stamp from Technique Junkies on the patterned paper with Versamark ink, and heat embossed it with clear powder to form a resist.  Then I started adding Twinkling H2O's watercolors and Silks Acrylic glazes over the image.

 The shells were stamped and colored and then cut to create the embellishments and the sentiment was stamped to the base paper.

 The beautiful new additions to Die'sires Edge'ables collection are available today (and you can click here to see the specials!) I love this Doily Lattice die - it is such a pretty and sweet die that will work on so many projects. Did you notice how the flowers are dimensional as part of the die design? So cool!  I made a bit of a fancy fold card - and made a Z-fold pocket on the front of the card (perfect place to hide a bookmark or secret message).

Coming this week from Crafter's Companion...Fancy Edge'Ables Dies

You can never have enough dies!
