It's Wednesday and the clock is ticking to get those last minute gifts together. Today is also my Heartfelt Creations and Flower Soft days, so I combined products from both of these great companies on this project!
If you want a really quick little basket to make, I've got just the idea for you! Last week on Flower Soft TV, Noreen showed how to make this simple basket from a sheet of cardstock. I just scored my lines using my Scor-pal and I had a basket in less than 2 minutes! (Now mind you, I spent longer decorating it!)
Here are the details for you:
HCPC 3345 Snowflake Medley Swirl
Snowflake Wonders Shapeabilities
This little gift basket is really simple and quick to make, so if you have a bunch of Christmas favors that you need to put together, this would be a great way! I found the directions for making the basket on the December 10th program of Flower Soft TV (Festive Decorations). So after the basic basket was finished, I decorated it. I cut four squares 2.25" out of some kind of holographic white type paper. To stamp on this, I used the Snowflake Medley Swirl and VersaCraft ink (and heat set it). This ink worked well on my coated paper, and didn't smear my design at all. I glued the panels on using Scor-tape and then glued a border of silver Flower Soft around the edge of each square. I stamped snowflakes from the Single Snowflakes with Versamark ink, and embossed with silver. I cut the snowflakes out using the Snowflake wonder dies, and added Polar White Flower Soft along the edges. I used dimensional adhesives to glue my snowflakes on.
