Where did I put my........?
Do you ever feel like you are running around like a chicken with it's head cut off? This has been one more crazy week! I finally got my computer back this afternoon, but after I got it all hooked up, I realized that I don't have a clue where my digital camera is! So, this is the scanned version of my card for the Beary Scrap. As soon as I figure out what I did with my camera, I'll add a better pic for you!
We have a great sketch to play with this week - and we would love for you to play along with us! Now please don't look at my sketch for the inspiration! I apparently printed out the wrong sketch to use (I told you - it's been crazy!) I used some Cosmo Cricket papers (Jack's World). I love how great they looked with this little topper from Flower Soft. These toppers are a real time saver. They are printed designs (you get several of each design,) so you can cut them out and layer them rather quickly. We don't have this particular one in stock, but we have some others that are just adorable. I especially like all of the Hedgerow Friends series. I added some of the Citrus Crush Ultra Fine FS for the pillows and rug. The velvet flower and leaves are from Prima.
I am off all of next week, so hopefully, I can get my studio back in order!

As you make your way through the hop make sure you comment on each and every post. There will be a prize winner chosen randomly among the blogs. The prizes (one set for Splitcoast players and one set for the blog hop!) :
Moments in Time Stamp set Man of the Match
Ultra Fine Toffee Flower Soft
Ultra Fine Sage Flower Soft
Flower Soft Glue
The prize winner will be announced on the Flower Soft Blog on Wednesday September 8th. Good luck!
If you didn’t start at the beginning of the hop please go to the beginning at the Flower Soft Blog.
You would think that this would be an easy challenge - use your favorite Flower Soft colors, but I love them all! So it was hard to choose just a few. But, since I am getting geared up for fall, and since this weekend is the Apple Festival in my home town, I chose some wonderful fall colors. I used the Ultra fine Sage, Strawberry and Toffee. I really liked being able to add some depth to my shadows with the Flower Soft.
Want even more inspiration? Do you like video tutorials? Make sure and visit Flower Soft TV!
****Next on the hop is Linda Beeson.
Have a great time hoppping!

It's a Floral Challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbons!
How about an easy challenge? You know you love flowers, and that's the challenge that we are giving you at Really Reasonable Ribbons. We are being sponsored by AIFactory - who just happens to carry the Doodle Pantry images that I love! I used the Mini Rose Pot. Not only was my image floral, but I used this great new sheer woven rosettes in pink. It comes in several different colors that you will love! I also added some of the pink velvet ribbon on either side.
To punch my circle, I used the Kreaxions 4-in-1 punch #915 and the positioning guide, which lets you punch the inside of your circle - very cool! To see a video on how to use this, check this out.
We hope that you will play along with us!

Farewell Elise!
I have a really fun card to share with you today, but it's for a really sad occasion - our Beary Scrappy Gal Elise, is stepping down from the Design Team.
Elise, you have inspired so many people, not only with your over the top talent, but your kind and thoughtful words. Your encouragement has touched many people's lives and I'm sure that you will continue to spread sunshine wherever you go! Please know that we will miss you - but you will always be one of the gals!
I used a Sweet little Tilda (in honor of our very own Queen of the Magnolia's - Elise). She is all packed up and ready to go. The papers are Basic Grey - Cappella. I added one of their fabric flowers, Bloomers - which are just great! I still don't have my computer back, so the picture quality isn't great, but if you look at my distressing on the horizontal paper, you will notice that before I "roughed" the edges up, I ran the paper through a puddle of Glimmer Mist. This not only makes it really easy to distress, but also adds that shimmer and shine.
Be sure to drop by Elise's Blog and leave her some love for all that she has done. We will miss you girlie!
Please visit each blog, and as you're crying along with us, be sure to become a follower if you're not already *and* leave a comment. Please post our candy on your blog, too. At the end, go back to The Beary Scrap Design Team blog and let us know you followed along - you could win (even if you're international)!
The hop is open through Saturday, September 4th, and we'll announce a random winner from all the comments on Sunday. The prize is an assortment of embellishments* you'll find on Elise's fabulous projects: satin and sheer ribbons, lace, pearls, pins, little baubles and delicious flowers flowers flowers!
Thanks for helping us bid a fond farewell to Elise!

Back to School with Belles N Whistles
When I was growing up, I loved the excitement of going back to school- Who would be my teacher? Shopping for that perfect first day of school outfit, and seeing all of my friends. I also have great memories of taking my little sister to school. She is four years younger than me, so although I would like to say I had to take care of her, she has always been very independent and
quite capable of taking care of herself. Even still, I knew that this Sisters stamp, would be perfect for our Back to School Challenge at Belles n Whistles.
I used some of the gorgeous hand-dyed silk ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I love how easy it is to distress the edges of this ribbon. The papers are from Graphic 45.

For my project, I used Reading is Fun. I added plaid DP, because plaid just reminds me so much of anything back to school. There are some other great inspirations over on our DT blog - so don't forget to check them out.
