I have had so much fun playing with Heartfelt Creations stamps, dies and papers and am excited to share a card with you today!  In case you don't know, I was named a semi-finalist for their Design Team - and now it's up to you to vote for your favorite semi-finalists (and returning team members), to see who will be on the team.  If you haven't voted, I would be honored and thrilled, if you could take a moment and vote for me.  Just for voting, you have a chance to win a $50 gift certificate!  There is one poll for the semi-finalists and one for returning members (and each poll offers a prize).

How Was Your World Card Making Day?

Good Monday morning! Did you celebrate World Card Making Day this weekend? I did, but I'm just now able to start sharing the fruits of my labor.  Last week it still felt like summer here, but this weekend the temperatures dropped to true fall weather. So of course, I was inspired to create an autumnal card for you.

Shaped cards are so easy using Cheery Lynn Designs' Reflections Boutique collection.  For this one, I used the Mini Pearl Coved Rectangle, and just lined the top up with the scored edge of my cardstock.  I used the next size down to add my patterned paper.

The flower was made with the Build a Flower 2, but instead of using rose leaves, I added oak leaves from the Large Leaves 1 set, which seemed a little bit more appropriate for the season. The rose is sitting on the Notre Dame Cathedral Doily - but I altered it just a bit, by cutting the circular frame away.

If you would like to play along with the Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge this week - the theme is ornage and black.  One person will be chosen to win a $20 gift certificate to the CLD store.
