A New Challenge at the Beary Scrap!

Have you see our new sketch challenge at the Beary Scrap? This is such a beautiful sketch that Susan designed! Today, I wanted to show you what a cute card you can make in just a few minutes! I used My Mind's Eye - ALPHABET SOUP Boys Paper & Accessories Kit. It had all of the papers and diecuts - so it was a snap to put it together! I inked around all of my papers with Distress Ink to give the card a more finished look. I used the MME stamp set from Lost and Found - Union Square to stamp "Fun" on the ticket. The only thing else that I added that wasn't in the kit was the ribbon that I pleated by pulling the white stitching. Easy Peasy!

Give Thanks

Wow! Can you believe November is here already? This year will be over before we even blink. Well, since Thanksgiving is now just a few short weeks away, we thought that it would be a great time for a Give Thanks/Thanksgiving Challenge at Karen's Doodles.

I chose to go a pretty traditional route for my card, by using Thanksgiving Turkey. He was really fun to color!

You don't have to make a Thanksgiving card, you can make a project about what you are thankful for as well. Hope you will play along with us!
