Anything But A Card
Anything but a card challenges have never been my favorite thing - but this week, I embraced it and made two projects for Karen's Doodles Joint Blog Challenge (which means that all of the groups are combined this week for the same theme).
My first project is a Treasure Box for a Princess. I used the lovely new image Pretty Princess and tried to make this a spot for a little girl to hide those very special treasures. So, it is a bit over the top girly - but rather fun.
My second project will help gear up for spring - a decorated flower pot. I printed Karen's Butterfly and Bee (which is free to all of her PCP group) - onto Grafix Rub-on paper. So, I was able to transfer the design directly to the pot. I colored it lightly with my copics. The rub-on does leave a bit of whitish area in the spots that are not colored, so I just dabbed on more white paint to blend that area in.
So, are you proud of me for making 2 Anything but a Card projects? We can't wait to see the creative things that you come up with this week!
