It's never too early to start working on Christmas cards!

I am a procrastinator, so perhaps it is a good thing that Flourishes is sponsoring a monthly Christmas card challenge (See it's the 28th of the month, and I'm just getting my entry in for the month!) Maybe this way, I will actually have some great cards ready in time to send out for Christmas.

I used the distress crackle paint in rock candy over my angel image that was colored with copics. After my crackle was dry, I rubbed distress inks over it, to really give it an antique patina.

So, is it too early to start wishing you a Merry Christmas?

Challenges:
Flourishes - sketch
Incy Wincy - button up
ABC - "V" vintage
Creative Inspirations - Distressed
Stampin Sisters in Christ - Distressed
Simon Says - Blue, green, brown
Charisma Cardz - Going Round in Circles
Colour Create - soft green, light aqua
Create 4 Fun - vintage
C.R.A.F.T. - blue and green
Opus Gluei - Seasonal Icons
Delightful Sketches - texture

I really like the look of that rock candy crackle and even though we just got rid of the cold weather, I can appreciate a winter card with the heat we have today!

Three entries for the challenge at Opus Gluei? Oh my goodness, I love it! I too have big thoughts of handmade Christmas cards and never seem to get them done, this is lovely. That angel is beautifully done, the distressing and the patina it gives is grand. Thank you so much for loving this challenge, glad you played along with us!
