Sew, You Love JustRite?

You know I love playing the JustRite Challenges - and hardly ever miss one. Well, this one almost snuck up on me, but I love what I came up with for this sketch challenge. I used the Stitched with Love set, and colored it with copics and watercolor crayons. My background paper is an actual tissue paper pattern that I glued to cardstock. The pattern graphic was from a vintage sewing pattern that I scanned, reduced and printed. I even pinned my pattern down, just like I used to do when I would sew with my great-grandmother. I of course had to finish it off with seam binding.

Challenges:
JustRite: Sketch
Simon Says Stamp and Show: Anything Goes

Gini this is lovely. The vintage graphic is wonderful. I love how you pinned down the sewing pattern.

This is wonderful. Love the vintage pattern and all of the other embellishments. The buttons are displayed so cute and the tape measure wrapped around the pattern is great! The best...the pins around the pattern instructions. Great idea!! Thanks for sharing this with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge! <3 Candy
