Hi, I"m back today to share with you a couple of the cards that I
created for the new product release at CHA. The design team was assigned
different stamps for the show, and we each were chomping at the bit to
see what goodies would arrive in our mailbox. Well, you know I was
thrilled to receive a big box of goodies from Hampton Art! We
had a quick turnaround time, so papers, stamps and inks were flying
around my studio. But there is something really cool about the rush of
getting ready for the big show. I hope you enjoy!

Madeira Machine Embroidery Thread
Instructions:
1.
Stamp three carrots by inking the top portion with the Moss Green and
the lower portion with the Pumpkin Pie. Fussy cut, and ink the edges
with the Chestnut Roan. Shape the leaves by wrapping them around a pen.
To add the roots to the carrot, take a short piece of embroidery thread,
and glue to the back, letting a tail hang down.
2. Glue the
carrots to a piece of brown cardstock, so that it looks like the leaves
are above the ground and the carrots are below.
3. Use an
embossing pen to trace the word “Grow” from the stamp, stamp on the
lower corner of the patterned paper and emboss with dark brown powder.
Machine stitch around this layer. Ink the edges of the patterned papers
using the Dark Moss.
4. Finish as shown.

Instructions:
1. Stamp the frames using watermark ink and emboss in silver. Cut the frames out.
2. Stamp the sea creatures with the watermark ink and emboss with dark brown powder. Fussy Cut the images and mount on the frames using dimensional adhesive.
3. Add a mat of dark brown behind each of the frames.
4. Ink the edges of patterned papers with Chestnut Roan. Arrange as shown.
5. Add pearls to finish.
