Cuttlebug Challenge 39

This week's Cuttlebug Challenge was to create 1) a woodsy project - using woodland animals 2) To use the orange, turquoise and green palate and 3) to use something from nature. Well, I was really worried about using something from nature and having it look like it was not just an afterthought. I was so excited to use pine needles as a flower embellishment. I really like how the darker orange-ish brown helped to ground the design as well.

I used the Floral Screen CB folder, the cute owl stamp was "You're a Hoot" from Close to My Heart, inks were Dessert Sand and Ocean (also from CTMH) Papers were from My Mind's Eye, Basic Grey - Romani, and Pop Culture from KI Memories, the ribbon was from Quick Quotes, and Distress Stickles in Broken China.

This was just so fun! If you have never entered any challenges, you should! It really pushes you to keep making creative things and not always work in your comfort zone.
