Heartfelt Creations Release Day!

It's reveal day at Heartfelt Creations! And with all of this snow that has been hitting so many parts of the country, I know this Springtime Medley release will be a welcomed sign of spring.

I have two cards to share with you today. The release actually has 5 stamp sets and a new die!, so you will want to head to the blog to see examples from the other sets and then go to the store and get your orders in! This is one of my favorite releases yet.

HCPC 3362 Angel Trumpet Flower

HCPC 3363 Inspire Me Sentiments

Spellbinders Fancy Tags

HCD 702 Decorative Butterfly/Border Die

Other: Distress Inks: Rusty Hinge, Victorian Velvet, Spiced Marmalade, Tattered Rose, Dried Marigold

Paper: Basic Grey - Curio

Black embossing powder, Sakura Glaze pen in olive, My Mind's Eye jewels and velvet ribbon, May Arts grosgrain ribbon

I created my colored paper for the flowers by rubbing distress inks onto a non-stick mat, spritzing it with water and rubbing my watercolor paper onto the mat. I added some direct to paper ink as well. After I was pleased with the amount of ink, I sprayed Glimmer Mist over the paper to add more depth. I dried the paper with my heat tool and then stamped and embossed each set of flowers 3 times. I also stamped/embossed the upper left bunch of flowers onto white cardstock and fussy-cut it out. I colored the leaves using a glaze pen. I assembled the card, and started adding layers of cut flowers with dimensional foam between each layer. The large flower bunch at the bottom right of the card, was stamped directly on the designer paper, and then built up in the same manner. I added jewels to each of the flower centers. My sentiment was stamped and then cut out using the Fancy Tags. For my "stopper" for the bottom portion of the easel card, I put ribbon embellished with more ribbon and a die-cut from the Decorative Butterfly/Border die set.

HCPC 3361 Semper Augustus Tulips

HCPC 3363 Inspire Me Sentiments

Stamp sentiment onto ribbon and set aside. Stamp tulip flourish onto pink cardstock using Versamark and emboss using dark green powder.Cut using the largest die form the Scalloped circles small nestabilities. Color in the leaves with the souffle pen and set aside. Using the single tulip stamp, stamp 6 tulips (2 for each flower). Color and cut. Tie a multi-looped bow to the back of a button and assemble card as shown.
