Harvest/Halloween Blog Hop with The Robin's Nest Design Team

Welcome to the Robin's Nest Harvest/Halloween Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Irit's blog, but if you just stumbled here, then you will want to go back and start at the Robin's Nest blog. Since today is Halloween, you know we have lots of treats for you (and no tricks!) How about if I told you that at every designer along the hop today is giving away a $15 gift certificate to the Robin's Nest - and one lucky person will win a $50 gift certificate to the store!!! Now our rules are a little different, so you will want to pay close attention, so you won't miss your chance to win!

So here are the rules: To win any of the candy, you must leave a comment on every blog, and you must become a follower of all of the blogs on the hop. I'm sure you are going to love everything you see, so why wouldn't you want to follow?

I made a spooky little house to share with you today - and actually, I made it look like a whole spooky neighborhood, but photographing my house in front of the Robin's Nest Haunted House paper. My little cottage started out as a humble chipboard one that I picked up at the local big box store. I covered it with the gorgeous Halloween Swirl paper (this will be so great for all of those Trick-or-Treat photos that I hope to capture tonight!). I used the Black Glitter Cardstock for the eaves of my house, as well as the ground around it. I added my jack-o-lanterns from the Pumpkin Heads paper - and just did a little fussy cutting. The rest of the house was painted first with orange paint, and then Dusty Concord Crackle paint. I love the way a little orange shows through!

Well, now you are off to Jan's blog. Have fun along the way, and don't forget to become a follower and leave a comment for your chance to win!

This is sooooo AWESOME! I love the purple double peaked roofs. All this needs is an LED tealight to flicker in the dark. Happy Halloween : )

Hello. Your spooky house is very cute. I really like the papers you chose to cover it with. Very Halloween-ish with the blacks, oranges and browns. Your little row of pumpkins out front are cute as well. Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. <3 Candy
