May Arts Ribbonista Holiday Hop

Welcome to Day 4 of the May Arts Ribbonista Holiday Hop! I hope you have been enjoying all of the inspiration and in case you missed anything, be sure to head to the May Arts Blog for a list of each day's participants. You know the Ribbon Lady is not going to let us have a hop without giving away some gorgeous ribbon! So, leave comments on any of the hop posts to be entered to win your choice of four spools of ribbon.

Here's a list of who is hopping today:
  Gini

I've got an easy wreath to share with you today. Start off by making a base for the wreath by drawing two rings onto cardboard you have around the house and cutting them out. Glue the two rings together to make them more sturdy.

Cut lengths of various colored Sheer Twinkle Ribbon 12" each.Form a loop on the inside of the ring, and pull the tails from the outside of the ring through the loop, then pull the tails to the outside of the ring to make a knot.

Tighten the knot so that none of the cardboard shows. Push the ribbons close together.

Finished wreath.

What size ring(s) did you start with? Nice fluffy ribbon.

Oh how clever! Makes you just want to run your hands through the ruffly ends, doesn't it?

Would never have thought of doing this - so pretty! And with all the ribbon colors available, can be made hor seasons and holidays! How about shades of pink ribbons surrounding a mirror for a princess dream room!

What a good use of fancy schmancy ribbon. I love the look--it would be great for other times of year, too.
