Dream

I absolutely love the Artisan Style Collection from Graphic 45.  I grew up around Asheville, NC - and this style of architecture is extremely embraced for it's  historical significance as well as it's  inspiring beauty.

I stamped the Craftsman home on watercolor paper, and embossed with black power.  I used the Spectrum Aqua pens to "paint" my house.

Spring Meadow Kraft Card

Core'dinations makes it so easy to create cute cards with lots of texture in just a few minutes. This is really great if you have to make multiples of cards for parties, thank-you's, etc. The Deco-Edge Kraft Cards and Envelopes are a real treat to use, not only for the trendy kraft color, but also with the fancy cut edge, half your work is already done. Kraft is also a great color choice, because it can be used for masculine and feminine projects alike.

Spring Meadow Kraft Card Supplies:
  019
Step 1. Cut a panel of blue cardstock to fit on the card front.
Step 2. Emboss the panel and sand the image with the Sand-it Gadget, 016
Step 3. Adhere to the card base.
Step 4. Add dimension to the flower buds, by add a dot of white with the Pico Embellisher, to each of the dots on the design. 018
Step 5. Punch small flower to layer over the flowers. Distress the flowers with a Sand-it Gadget. Step 6. Finish the flowers with a small adhesive pearl in the center. 022
This is not my typical color palette, but I think it is a great combination for spring. Add the distressing, and it reminds me of a favorite pair of worn blue jeans. ~Gini

Be Bold

I got a chance to sit down and play with the new Spectrum Aqua markers - and all I can say is wow!  These are so much fun and so easy to use.  I stamped my image with VersaMark and heat embossed with gold powder.  A few swipes of the pens and a little brush and water and my image was done.  These are going to stay out on my craft table all of the time - because I know I will be reaching for them constantly.

Hello Crafter's Companion!

I have some news worth celebrating! I have been asked to join the Crafter's Companion US Eduction Team - woot, woot!  As a consumer, I have been more than impressed with the quality, variety and customer service that this company offers - so I am thrilled to be a part of the team.

To celebrate, I created this card using the adorable Frou Frou line of stamps. She was so much fun to color with the Spectrum Noir markers.
