May Arts Ribbonistas Earth Day Hop

Welcome to the May Arts Ribbonista's Earth Day Blog Hop!  We hope that you will find lots of inspiring ideas to help you celebrate today.

I wanted my Earth Day project to be something that showcased recycling - and also something that was created using some of our natural fibers.  I chose to make a decorative bottle (hence the re-purposed), wrapped with green jute.

I made yo-yo flowers from fabric to add to my bow. and finished everything off with a tag.

So simple and yet I can never think of anything like that. Sometimes I believe we think everything has to be so over the top to be good. Thanks for sharing.

And just how, Gini, did you get that jute to stay wrapped so perfectly! Lovely!

Great idea. You could change the color of the twine for different occasions - red/white/blue for the 4th, pastels for Easter, etc. I'm assuming that the heavy twine comes in those colors. Thanks.
