May You Always Have A Shell In Your Pockets and Sand In Your Shoes

I've got a mixed media card to inspire you today - that uses bright, primary colors, perfect for the summer.
I stamped the Wasted background stamp from Technique Junkies on the patterned paper with Versamark ink, and heat embossed it with clear powder to form a resist.  Then I started adding Twinkling H2O's watercolors and Silks Acrylic glazes over the image.
The shells were stamped and colored and then cut to create the embellishments and the sentiment was stamped to the base paper.

Supplies:
Technique Junkies Stamps:
ColourArte Paints:
Radiant Rain: Sunburst
Silks Acrylic Glaze: Sky Blue, Spiced Pumpkin
May Arts Ribbon
Prima Patterned Paper

This card is absolutely amazing! I adore the way you embraced bright colors to represent that happy beach-summertime feel! And you did it in such a sophisticated way with so many clever techniques. I love the way the resist process turned out on the background and thought your blending of the different colors was perfect. There are also so many brilliant details like the stitched look around the edge, the strips of lace, and the "water droplets." I just sat here and stared at your piece, taking in all of its loveliness as I longed for the beach! Thank you so much for sharing this stunning card with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
