Oh my goodness! My one year blogoversary was on July 5th - and I am just now getting this candy posted! I hope it will be worth the wait though! When I started this blog, I got my sister to follow me, and never thought I would have another follower - so thank you for a year's worth of encouragement, sweet comments and friendship. My skills have grown so much over this year, and it's because I love sharing my creations with you.

When I was trying to decide what to put in this candy, I tried to pick the things that I love. It really turned out to be a girly-girl jackpot!

Are you ready to go back to School?

Summer is almost a memory. School starts back here in less than a week - so to get you geared up at Delightful Challenges, we want to see back to school projects using the primary colors.

I chose Sitting Penny for my card. I think she is all set for the first day of class. There are some really cute images available at Digital Delights, so go grab one and join in on the fun. We can't wait to see what you come up with.

Those Flowers have been Framed!

I know I shared this card on my blog earlier this week, but I thought I would tell you a little about my ribbon frame. Sometimes I get a ribbon that I think is so beautiful, I'm not sure how to use it! I loved this scalloped green trim, from Really Reasonable Ribbon the moment I saw it, but I wasn't sure what I should do with it. Then, I was working on a card and it just needed something to visually define my borders. This was the perfect place to highlight this gorgeous trim! To me, it almost makes a postage stamp type frame. I just loved the results - and the good news is - we have this trim in 6 colors - Woo Hoo! The stamps I used are from Heartfelt Creations.

Show us some fall colors

Autumn is just around the corner, and we would love to see some of those gorgeous fall colors on your Belle's N Whistles projects.

We had my dad's birthday party today, and I made this card for him. The fall colors were great for his card. I used the stamp Surprise. The papers were from Pink Paislee.

Animal Antics with Karen's Doodles

You know Karen has some adorable images using animals, and this week at the Karen's Doodles challenge we want to see some of those animals.

Falling for You with Really Reasonable Ribbon

I really love fall, so you will have to forgive me if I am rushing into using my autumn colors! But, I have to admit, that is my favorite palette ! This easel card features Hansel - a digital stamp from the Stamping Bazaar. I folded paper pleats and machine stitched Cranberry Grosgrain ribbon down on top of it. This made a really cool texture. I also used, I think my last piece of Brown crochet lace on the bottom portion of the card. Bonnie, you know I will be ordering more of that one! Doesn't this card just make you think of crisp, fall days? I can't wait!

Get Zesty with Karen's Doodles!

Welcome to Monday and another challenge day at Karen's Doodles. This week Joey has chosen the theme - Summer Zest. We want to see yellow, orange, lime green and a splash of blue. It really is a fun summer palate to play with!

I used Butterfly Puppy and think that he looks quite happy to be surrounded by such vibrant colors. The papers are from Kaisercraft.

There's not much time left for summer, so you better pull out your bright papers and have a go at this while you can. We can't wait to see what you come up with.

I made a telephone numbers magnet for the side of the refrigerator- all of the papers and images come with the download - so I just printed them, cut them out, popped some dimensional tape between them and inked the papers a little bit.
